Hon Gary Nkombo made history during the 2021 general elections when he had the guts to challenge the ECZ Commissioners,he fought till the end when His Excellence Mr Hakainde Hichilema was crowed as the new president of the Republic of Zambia.

His Home Town Mazabuka is slightly developing with only one shopping mall that is still under construction,the township is the home town to the Biggest Sugar producing Company (Zambia Sugar) in Zambia with the Tonga tribe as the majority.
